Question

How to stay in touch with the group?

Answer

We created a GroupMe so that the whole group can stay in touch. We will use this to let everyone know of possible changes to locations or times. We will also let everyone know of additional optional events. Feel free to share with the group where you will be - or if you need extra pickleball players! Question

How do I book my trip?

Answer

In order to keep everything together with our wedding and ensure everyone receives the group rate, we do need you to book through our website or travel agent on the attend page of our website. You can also reach out to our travel agent, Mindi, through email: mphillips@destinationweddings.com or phone: 609-206-2168. She will help you with your entire booking process such as finding flights, selecting your room, and reserving your spot!

Question

When do I have to book?

Answer

This resort does not allow for a room block, meaning the resort will likely sell out. We encourage anyone who is considering making the trip to book their room immediately. The rooms will be fully refundable and your credit card is not charged until 30 days before the trip. The best thing to do is book your trip through our travel agent and cancel if need be rather than waiting and missing out on your choice of room! That being said, our wedding group does book under a special code, providing a significant discount. Your room must be booked by August 25 at the LATEST to receive this discounted rate.

Question

How much will the trip cost?

Answer

Some sample pricing can be found below, but our travel agent will give you an exact price when you contact her: Two people, 4 nights, Junior Suite Spa or Pool View: $1,248 + Flights Two people, 3 nights, Junior Suite Swim Up Room: $1,020 + Flights Two people, full week, Junior Suite Swim Up Room: $2,040 + Flights *Rates include ground transportation to & from the airport, free cancelation up to 24 hours ahead, and your all-inclusive stay. Your choice of room may increase or decrease the price, room types can be found on the website. Additionally, you may choose to add trip insurance which would also increase the price.

Question

How many people can stay in a room?

Answer

Most rooms accommodate two people. There are two room types that accommodate three people: The Junior Suite, spa or pool view, and The Junior Swim-Up Suite spa or pool view.

Question

What if I find a cheaper price online?

Answer

If you are searching online and find a cheaper price, please call Mindi. She will be able to look into it for you and possibly explain the price discrepancy.

Question

Is there anything that's not included?

Answer

Question

Is there transportation to and from the resort to the airport?

Answer

Question

Is Cancún safe?

Answer

There has recently been an uptick in media reports of violence in Mexico. This is not something we take lightly, and have put a lot of consideration into it. Mexico does have a high crime rate, but it is important to note that most crimes are gang-related and rarely occur in the Cancún hotel district (where we will be). Very few visitors and tourists are affected by these crimes as long as they are vigilant and responsible. Statistically, Cancún is similar to US cities like Boston, Las Vegas, New York, or Washington DC. We encourage you to do your own research and only make decisions that you feel comfortable with! We completely understand the safety concern and while we would love to have you celebrate with us, would never want you to do something you don't feel safe doing.
