Isla Blanca Park

Isla Blanca Park, a beautiful state park, has over a mile of white-sand and is home to one of South Padre Island's most popular landmarks, the Cristo De Los Pescadores statue. With a small entrance fee you can relax, sunbathe, and potentially see dolphins! For an additional cost you can rent a cabana for the day and enjoy other activities like snorkeling and fishing.

Paradise Fun Rentals

Rent a golf cart as your way to travel down the beachfront and explore some of the main sites of South Padre Island! There are multiple rental places, but we recommend 1 of the 5 Paradise Fun Rentals locations since they are open until 11pm!

Gravity Park

Activities all evening long! Gravity Park is an amusement park with several rides like a giant swing, a reverse bungee, and 60 foot ferris wheel. There's also a multi-level go-kart track, mini-golf, an arcade, and a climbing wall.

Laguna Madre Nature Trail

A gorgeous boardwalk trail of about 4 acres surrounding the Laguna Madre wetland complex. Get a glimpse of the flora and fauna of the Rio Grande Valley and don't forget your binoculars!

South Padre Island Birding & Nature Center

Overlooking the Laguna Madre wetlands, this organization offers guided bird tours and educational lectures on birds, gators, and snakes. Butterflies will be in migration during our wedding weekend, be sure to visit the viewing tower to take in the beauty!

Sea Turtle, Inc.

Support the conservation, medical care, applied research and education of sea turtles by visiting this non-profit. You can see the rescued sea turtles in rehabilitation and stock up on eco-friendly beach gear and everyday items or sea turtle paraphernalia.
