The attire is formal, black-tie optional. A tuxedo or a dark-colored suit is suggested for men. A brightly colored or gemstone colored mid-length to floor-length dress is suggested for women. Since the festivities begin the evening before the wedding day, you can comfortably arrive Friday afternoon. However, there are many activities to do at the beach, so come a day or two early if that is more your style!
It is totally up to you! However these details may help you make up your mind: The wedding venue is about 15 minutes from Brownsville and about 25 minutes from South Padre Island. We will have a shuttle for the guests staying in South Padre the evening of the wedding. The other wedding weekend activities are in South Padre Island.

Yes, a shuttle will pickup and drop off guests at Margaritaville. Shuttles will depart from Margaritaville Resort at 4:10pm. We recommend arriving to the pick up location at 3:45pm. A party bus will take guests back to Margaritaville at 10pm and at 1am.
