Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we ask that guests dress in cocktail attire. For women, this might be a knee-length or floor-length dress. For men, this might be a suit.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors unless there is bad weather, in which case it will be moved to the pavilion. The pavilion will also host our cocktail hour and reception. The pavilion has ceiling mounted heaters and retractable sides to ensure guest comfort if it is raining or chilly. During the cocktail hour and reception, guests may also use the outdoor patio space and fireplace. Since our wedding will be held in late October, we may suggest bringing a light jacket or cover-up just in case (especially the ladies!).

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding unless stated on your invitation. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we are hosting an adult-only event. It's your night off!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be offering a variety of beer, wine, champagne, and seltzer options in our open bar during the cocktail hour and reception.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes, Bay Pointe offers complimentary self parking located within walking distance to the event location.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing bus transportation for guests who book at the Holiday Inn Express in Hastings, MI. The bus will bring you to our venue and back to the hotel at the end of the reception. We are not planning to service to any other locations at this time. Please keep an eye out on the RSVP form and let us know where you plan to stay and whether you plan to use the shuttle service so we can best support you! What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 4:30 PM sharp. Please plan ahead to make sure you have ample time for parking, locating the space, and getting seated before our ceremony starts. If you are using the shuttle service, please be checked into your room and ready to hop on the bus by 3:30 PM.
