Rafting in Aspen
Please contact Tim (number above) if you would like to be included in this activity. Friday, June 3rd @ 10am Rafting is $90 and includes a wetsuit, a helmet, a life vest and water shoes as well as a guided trip down the Upper Roaring Fork. Age limit 16 years old and recommended for only strong swimmers with no heart conditions.
Watch the rafters get splashed
If you're unable to join the rafting trip but would like to watch the action it is a very short and pleasant walk from the Aspen meadows to Stein park. From Stein park if you continue along the Rio Grande bike path for a few minutes you will see the rapids. Our boats will be launching sometime around 11am. Come meet us at the park and cheer us on as we take on the upper roaring fork river. Parking at Stein Park is extremely limited. Walking to the park from Aspen Meadows Resort is recommended. Friday morning hiking: Lost Man Loop Trail 10:30am
For those that will be in town on Friday morning and would like to join others on a nice hike there is a party of people heading out from the lower lost man trailhead at 10:30am on Friday morning. Contact Tim at the number above if you would like to be included or would like more details!
Saturday morning fishing
Saturday morning 8:30am-12:30 There is already one party of people heading up the frying pan to fish with a guide. If you would like to be included in this event please contact Tim (number above)
Maroon Bells
The Maroon Bells is the most photographed spot in Colorado and is only a shuttle ride away from Aspen. Friday night at the Belly Up Aspen
The band the Elevators are playing at the Belly Up on Friday night for $15. For those people who aren't attending the rehearsal dinner this will be a fun way to meet/catch up with some other people from the wedding. Show starts at 9! After the rehearsal dinner and show a lot of people are hoping to go check out some bars in Aspen, we'll play this by ear! Text Tim for more information about what to do Friday night!
