What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be in the Willow Room on the third floor of the west tower. Please plan to be in the ceremony space by 5:00pm to find a seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:15pm. We recommend giving yourself time to walk to the ceremony space since the venue is large especially guests who need to park their cars.

Is there a dress code?

Black-tie optional or formal attire only. Please see this guide for details: https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698 Guests should avoid wearing white or anything casual, like jeans, sundresses, polos, t-shirts, light colored suits, sandals/flip-flops, or sneakers.

Can I bring a date or my children?

Due to the size of our guest list, we only have space for the guests listed on your invitation and cannot accommodate additional people at the wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There are parking garages available on site with hourly parking rates. The East Tower Parking Garage is owned by The Galt House and the West Tower Parking Garage is owned by the City of Louisville. Street parking is also available. Operating hours for all meters are Monday - Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Street parking is free after 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and free all day Sunday. Additionally, parking meters will not be enforced on Memorial Day.
