Question

How do we get around San Diego & to the wedding?

Answer

San Diego is pretty spread out, so we would recommend renting a car if you plan on site seeing. Keep mind that most hotels and accommodations in downtown San Diego charge for overnight parking. We do encourage everyone to Uber or Lyft to the wedding location as street parking is very limited. Also, we want to make sure everyone is responsible when alcohol is involved.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please refer to our "Travel" section of the website for our recommendations.

Question

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes, because the venue is in a residential area and the reception has to end at 9:30PM due to noise ordinances, but that doesn't mean the party has to stop there. We plan on having an after party to continue the celebration. Location TBD...

Question

Where are you guys registered?

Answer

Please refer to our "Registry" section on our site as we have set up various activity funds which are in place of a traditional gift registry. We will also be following the Asian tradition of accepting envelopes.

Question

What time should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4PM and doors open at 3:30PM so we encourage you to come early. If you are running on Asian time and arrive late and the ceremony has begun, we ask that you wait until the bride has walked down the aisle before taking your seat.

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Because this is a special chapter of our lives, we would like to share this moment with our loved ones, therefore we have only invited those that we know personally. Please refer to your invitation or reach out to George or Michelle if you have questions!

Question

How's the weather going to be?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be outdoors. Early October weather usually calls for mid 70s temperatures in the afternoon and low 60s in the evening. Because of Day Lights Savings the sun starts to set early so it may get chilly at night especially since our venue is a few blocks from the ocean. Guys- a suit jacket will be warm enough; Ladies- you may want to bring a light jacket or wrap for the evening.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes, children will be invited, but please keep in mind that we would like everyone to enjoy themselves and have a good time.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by August 1st.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Attire is formal, but not black tie. Suits are acceptable (tux not required) for the gentlemen and evening gowns and cocktail dresses for the ladies. Please no jeans, shorts, or flip flops.
