The Haldi marks the joyful start of our wedding celebrations. Loved ones gather as a turmeric-based paste (haldi) is applied to the bride and groom. It’s meant to bless them with good fortune and glowing skin before the big day! Lunch will be provided.
Mehendi / Sangeet

The Mehendi (henna) ceremony is when intricate designs are drawn on the bride’s hands and feet, symbolizing love and joy. Guests are also encouraged to get their mehendi done. The Sangeet, meaning "as sung together," will be held concurrently. This is the night to eat, dance, and get into the spirit of the wedding. Don’t be shy — there will be performances and an open dance floor for everyone to join in! Dinner will be provided.

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony, called the Vivaah, is the heart of the celebration. It takes place under a beautifully decorated canopy called a mandap, where sacred rituals and vows unite the couple in front of family and friends. You’ll see symbolic offerings, vibrant traditions, and hear Sanskrit chants with English explanations along the way. Lunch will be provided.
Lawn Games & Photos (OPTIONAL)
1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
After the ceremony, there will be a few hours of downtime — time for photos, light snacks, and lawn games. Guests are welcome to stay and enjoy or head home after photos to rest, explore downtown Carmel, or change before returning for the evening reception. We want everyone to feel relaxed and ready for the festivities ahead!
Dinner/Reception
