One of our favorite bands (who is also playing our wedding!) is playing at our favorite music venue in Alaska! This feels like a M U S T for anyone coming to the wedding and in town at this time. Hope is a magical, historic mining town that is a very special place to us and our entire Alaskan community. It is only a short, 1.5 hour drive north from Seward and we really *hope* our friends and family can come experience this place. Think of it as a pre-wedding celebration - a sneak preview of the music and opportunity to get to know each other in the best way possible- on the dance floor! Car and tent camping is available at the Sea View Cafe, at the Porcupine campground, on-site at the Creekbend Cafe, or folks can just head back to Seward after the music if they prefer.
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We will be grilling on the waterfront for friends and family traveling from far and wide to our little abode in Alaska. Come by the pavilion for an easy meal and a visit!
2:00 pm - 3:15 pm
We will be providing shuttles from downtown Seward to Salted Roots for friends and family who are staying or live in town. Shuttles will begin pick ups at the Branson Pavilion at 2:00pm and run guests down to Lowell Point until 3:15pm. Shuttles will be available to bring guests back to Seward from 8:30pm-12am. - P r e t t y P l e a s e - Do not drive your vehicle to Lowell Point if you are not staying at Lowell Point. Parking is incredibly limited in the beachfront neighborhood. When booking this wedding with our friends at Salted Roots they had one request: Do not piss off the neighbors, and the only thing that pisses off the neighbors is cars parking in the street.
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm
- A l a s k a F o r m a l A t t i r e - Dress to impress, but shoes and clothes should be comfortable for the great outdoors and a rocky beach. A jacket will be needed for the crisp and potentially damp September air. Think sturdy boots, wools, furs, bolo ties....GOLD RUSH DISCO! We are delighted to welcome children to the beach ceremony, dinner, and reception. To ensure everyone can fully enjoy the evening’s festivities, we kindly ask that little ones head home by 9:00 PM.
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
There will be a taco bar, music, only a few speeches (we promise...just like, 9-12 of them) and an open bar. - F o o d - Thanks to those of you who already notified us of food allergies and special diets. If you have a serious food allergy or need special dietary accommodations and have not notified us, please holler. - K i d d o s - We are delighted to welcome children to the beach ceremony, dinner, and reception. To ensure everyone can fully enjoy the evening’s festivities and we don't frighten your children, we kindly ask that little ones head home by 9:00 PM.
Sat, Sep 13, 2025, 9:00 pm - Sun, Sep 14, 2025, 12:00 am
More music, dancing, camp fires, and shenanigans. Let's boogie!
Sat, Sep 13, 2025, 9:15 pm - Sun, Sep 14, 2025, 12:00 am
8:30 pm to 12-ish am. The shuttles will be available to guests wanting to return to downtown Seward starting at 8:30pm and will run until at least midnight. The shuttle will drop all guests off at the Branson Pavilion in town.
10:30 am
For friends and family staying at Lowell Point - We will have some basic breakfast affair at Salted Roots to help those not capable of making the trek into town for sustenance in the morning, after having what we hope was a very fun night.
