FAQs

The Wedding Website of ShyAnn Sue and Brett Anthony
In case you run into questions that we have not answered here on the days leading up to the wedding, or on the day of, the best points of contact would be Nicole Poirier, one of our bridesmaids and her number is 720-334-2454, as well as Emilee Schuster who can also be reached at 970-426-2706. If you have specific questions for Brett and I that they can't answer, please text me at 303-818-6501. We are so excited to celebrate with you all!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 23rd 2022. In your invitation there will be a RSVP card, as well as there is an option on here to RSVP by!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a registry on here :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If everyone could arrive by 3:00pm on Saturday in order to avoid getting lost or parking issues for the 4:00pm ceremony, that would be ideal! However, before 3:45pm would also be just fine. Enough time to grab a beverage and grab a seat.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes there is! It will be clearly marked right when you get into the venue off to the left.

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

Deer Creek Mountain Camp is 100% mask less as of right now. With COVID still spreading, we will monitor closely for the next few months especially leading up to the wedding. We want everyone to be safe, healthy, and comfortable.

Question

When will we know cabin assignments for the family staying up at the venue?

Answer

When family and the bridal party arrive on Friday, you will be given an envelope with a map, a printed out itinerary, and which cabin you will be in. The bridal party will all be in one cabin together :)

Question

What should I bring if I am staying at the venue?

Answer

It truly is a night at camp! Bring a sleeping bag/blankets and a pillow. The sleeping accommodations are bunks beds. Pajamas, toiletries, towels for the shower if you plan on doing that, and comfy clothes to hangout in. If you are immediate family, you will be invited to the rehearsal dinner the night before, so bring something to wear to that, as well as something to wear for the wedding the next day. Bug spray, sunscreen, and sunglasses are also a good idea for it is the mountains. Layers are recommended since we can not really predict Colorado summer time storms.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be a limited open bar, that will serve wine, beer, and a limited amount of his and her cocktails. If you want something specific we ask that you bring it yourselves. Please make sure you have arrangements if you are not staying at the venue, for we want all of our friends and family to make it home safely.

Question

Will there be games at cocktail hour?

Answer

There will be cornhole, beach volleyball, and more! Lawn games are a must for this event and I can't wait to see some of you dominate the cornhole championship during cocktail hour and after!

Question

Are dogs welcome at the venue?

Answer

As much as we love you and your furry family members, unfortunately they are not allowed at the venue because of the wildlife that inhabits the venue (aka a big herd of deer that are permanent residents to the valley). Please make accommodations for your fur babies the day of the wedding, and give them all the pets from Brett and I.

Question

Are there designated smoking areas at the venue?

Answer

The venue does not allow smoking at all throughout the perimeter of the property. This includes indoor and outdoor restrictions completely. This includes electronic cigarettes and vapes. Please be respectful to our lovely vendors, and sorry for the inconvenience.
