The Opera House of Bordeaux is one of the oldest and most famous in Europe. It is famous for its circular cupola in the auditorium and its ceiling painted by Claude Robin in the 18th century (and restored by François Roganeau in 1919).
Saint-Emilion is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
