Semi-Formal: South Asian attire, tuxes, and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
The Sangeet is a pre-celebration to the wedding in Indian tradition. Family will perform choreographed dances for the bride and groom for fun! Then there will be an open dance floor the rest of the evening. Parking will be directly beside the venue in a gated lot. Signage will be shown on where to park. Our Sangeet will be at the beautiful Brakefield at Riverwalk, an estate home overlooking the Catawba River in South Carolina. Get ready for a lot of dancing, great music, and even better food.
10:30 am - 2:00 pm
Cocktail Attire: South Asian attire, cocktail dresses, maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, button down shirts, and slacks are all acceptable. Please wear high heels accordingly, as our ceremony does take place on a grassy terrain. October weather can be a little unpredictable in the South, so please bring a shawl or light jacket in the case of cooler temps.
We will be having a Hindu outdoor wedding ceremony on the grounds of Magnolia Room. Our ceremony will last around 1.5 hours and will be followed with a light lunch.
