Fantastic Irish food.
Casual place to hang out and drink beer in Syracuse; non-traditional brews
This is a nice unpretentious small local brewery with a fantastic view of Seneca Lake from the patio and a delicious roast beef sandwich. Live music on weekends.
Another great small brewery with a patio and yard if you want to play catch or something.
Open weekends for tastings. Spanish-style ciders, i.e. more sour and a little funky, flat, unfiltered. The owner is fun to talk to.
Ciders can be found in most supermarkets, but not many have tasting rooms. For Kite and String, we like the Pioneer Pippin, but each tasting comes with your choice of 5 ciders. The porch overlooks Lake Cayuga.
The Shire Ale is a nice Scottish Ale.
The name says all you need to know.
We like the Mexican Lager and the Blueberry Sour.
You can schedule a private tasting on the farm.
We like their Dry Riesling.
We like their popcorn chicken and their chili oil.
This trail leads to views of Taughnnack Falls, which is higher than Niagara Falls.
Small production winery, but has some good wines.
Ice cream and some food
Ice cream! I like their fro-yo.
