Maid of Honor
Sahana was Shruthi’s first and still his her absolute best friend. From the day Sahana was born, they have been thick as thieves. They're known for laughing nonstop about absolutely nothing and confusing everyone around them about their weirdly close relationship.
Bridesman
CJ was Shruthi’s first friend in law school. They kept each other sane during the trials and tribulations of 1L, saw each other almost every day for three years, and can’t imagine what kind of hell their lives were like before they met.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and Shruthi were roommates in law school for two years. During that time, they learned possibly too much about each other, from the average number of times Maggie sneezed a day to what each of Shruthi’s facial expressions meant. Separation anxiety and FOMO are driving forces in having Maggie stand by Shruthi on this big occasion.
Bridesmaid
Katie and Shruthi met at the racquetball courts of Gregory Gym at UT Austin through Nick. Little did he know that one of his closest friends would soon be snatched away by his girlfriend!
Bridesmaid
Waverly and Shruthi have been friends ever since the fateful day they sat next to each other in AP chemistry in high school. From lab partners to best friends, they’ve held on to their friendship through miles of distance and the test of time.
Groomswoman
Nick and Smridhi met during the struggles of biomedical engineering at UT Austin. From classmates to neighbors to close friends, the friendship they have is lifelong. Smridhi is known to act as mediator between Shruthi and Nick more often than she'd probably like.
Groomsman
Nick met Martin back in high school and since then, their friendship has grown. College brought them as well as their significant others closer together, and now they're stuck as friends for life!
Groomswoman
Alexis and Nick met each other in high school, and their friendship then was not nearly as close as what it now is. They share similar tastes in shows, life, and long conversations, and she's roped herself in as Nick's Austin East Ciders provider for life--sorry!
Groomsman
Derek and Nick are unlikely friends. Nick first started as Derek's bullying victim in high school, and now Derek's standing by Nick's side as he gets married. A lot of stuff happened in between to create this drastic change in friendship, but let's just chalk that up to time, fun, and cider.
Ring Bearer
Roshan joined the Prabhu family in July of 2017 and is the darling of the crew. Shruthi and Nick could not get married without their golden boy.
Best Man
Ed was Nick’s first best friend—his older brother. They’ve been through life together, traversing challenges like school and work, and now Nick’s wedding, all with the help of their favorite childhood teddy bear (inside joke, sorry!).
