Our story was definitely not meant to be. We met in Madrid on a Monday. We both had that feeling that you get when you see your luggage in the airport after a long-haul flight. Except for the fact that one of us decided to move to Ireland, the only country in Europe where the other could not visit without a visa (guess who!). We thought we had long distance figured out but then… a pandemic happened. We had to spend months without seeing each other. After a while we decided that Ireland would be the place where we would end our 2.5 year long distance journey and well… the rest is history. One indian wedding done, a Spanish wedding to go! This was not fate. We chose each other and we hope we will keep choosing each other for the rest of this crazy journey. Thanks for being part of it. Nuestra historia no empezó estando destinados el uno para el otro. Nos conocimos en Madrid un lunes. Los dos tuvimos esa emoción que se experimenta cuando ves tu equipaje aparecer en la cinta del aeropuerto después de haber estado viajando todo el día. Excepto por el hecho de que, uno de nosotros decidió mudarse a Irlanda un mes más tarde, ¡el único país de Europa donde Shreyas necesitaba una visa para entrar! Pensamos que la relación a distancia la teníamos controlada cuando... se declara la pandemia. Meses sin vernos, en dos países diferentes. Después de un tiempo decidimos que la isla esmeralda sería el sitio donde pondríamos fin a la larga distancia y a acumular avios y... ¡aquí estamos! Después de la boda en la India toca la de España. Esto no fue el destino. Nos elegimos el uno al otro y nos seguiremos eligiendo durante esta locura de viaje. Gracias por formar parte de ella.
