Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Shradha Sharma and Siddhartha Sonker
Sunrise at Assi Ghat There is nothing quite like the Subah-e-Banaras. We highly recommend heading to Assi Ghat at dawn (around 5:30 AM) to witness the morning Aarti. The combination of Vedic chants, the morning sun over the Ganga, and the smell of fresh incense is the perfect way to start your day. The Evening Ganga Aarti: If you missed the morning, the grand Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat at sunset is a cinematic experience you can't miss. Gully Walk & Street Food: Wander through the narrow lanes for the legendary Kachori Sabzi, followed by a refreshing Banarasi Thandai or the famous "Malaiyo." Boat Ride at Dusk: Take a rowboat between the ghats as the city lights up. It’s the best way to see the "City of Light" in all its glory. Pro-Tip: Varanasi is best explored on foot and by rickshaw. Wear comfortable shoes and keep your camera ready—there’s a story in every corner!
