Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! The only kids attending will be those in the wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We know you are excited about the day, but due to the number of seats, we are not able to provide everyone with a plus one. Please refer to your invitation which states how many seats are reserved in your name. If it says "1 seat reserved" that means we are looking forward to seeing just you on our wedding day.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal/black tie. But please note that there are areas of grass that will need to be walked over to move from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, to the reception area, so ladies please wear appropriate footwear.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We want everyone to have a good time, but because the location is fairly remote we will stop serving alcohol at 10:30 pm

Where are you registered?

Answer

While we appreciate the thoughtfulness that goes into choosing a wedding gift we are encouraging those who would like to get us a gift to do so by monetary donation. Since the wedding is in Miami and we live in Oregon the logistics of delivery and transportation of physical gifts is a challenge. If you would like to make a monetary donation electronically you can by checking out the registry portion of this website.

Where should we stay?

Answer

The venue is in Homestead Florida. We have gone ahead and found a few hotels we recommend staying at if you are unsure where to stay. If you go to the travel page on this website you will find our suggestions.
