We encourage our out-of-town guests to book travel as soon as possible. MetLife Stadium will be hosting the World Cup in June, so it will be a popular time to fly to New York. (For this reason, we advise those flying to arrive BEFORE Sunday, to avoid airport chaos.) The closest airports to Saugerties are Albany and Newark, whereas La Guardia and JFK will get you closer to the city if you plan to visit NYC beforehand. Saugerties is a scenic two hour drive from Manhattan. You can also take an Amtrak from Penn Station to Rhinecliff, which is a 25 minute cab ride to Saugerties. Based on interest, we might provide a shuttle from the city to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. Keep an eye on your inbox for more details about transportation.
