Question

Why is your registry so small?

Answer

There are very few things we want or need for our home (except the few items we've listed on our registry). Instead, we'd love contributions to our honeymoon fund / life fund (see address below for check purposes), or a donation to New Neighbors Partnership (www.newneighborspartnership.org), the non-profit founded by Shoshana that helps resettle newly arrived refugee families in the US. All donations will be matched by the Good People Fund! Shoshana Akabas & Josh Blachorsky 245 W 107th Street New York, NY 10025 Venmo: @Joshua-Blachorsky

Question

What COVID precautions are you planning to take?

Answer

We're requiring a booster vaccine for all who are eligible and proof of a negative covid test for all attendees. Please see our COVID Protocol page on this website for more details about showing proof of a negative test.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional — come in whatever feels fancy and special for you!

Question

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will try! Let us know in advance if you have any restrictions we should be aware of. Keep in mind, our wedding food will be dairy, as our custom is to not mix meat and milk. For those with halal considerations, there will be no meat or shellfish served. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
