Schedule
3:00PM - Tischen
At the Chatan’s Tisch (groom’s tisch) folks will gather in celebration and sign some of the Jewish marriage documents. Shoshana’s Kallah’s Tisch (bride’s tisch) down the hall will be more low-key and quieter (side conversations should be kept outside the room, in the main cocktail area), and will involve some singing and poetry.
While the tisch is traditionally a gendered part of the wedding, you should feel free to grab some appetizers and visit one (or both!) of the tischen if you’re comfortable, or just enjoy the food and music in the main area.
3:50PM - Bedeken
Josh will greet Shoshana and place her wedding veil.
4:15PM - Ceremony
Shoshana and Josh will be married in a traditional ceremony.
5:00PM - 9:00PM - Dinner & Reception
The first dance set will feature traditional Jewish wedding music. Men and women will start out dancing separately (please join where you’re comfortable!), followed by dinner and speeches and secular music and more dancing!
