Question
What should I wear for the wedding and the reception?
Answer
We recommend Smart Casual attire! Because the ceremony and reception are both held at camp, we recommend wearing comfortable but presentable clothing and shoes (Chaco's are acceptable)!
Question
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be outside! The ceremony will take place "on the hill" with a beautiful mountain backdrop and the reception will take place in a covered pavilion area!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If your invitation has your name "and guest" listed, we have made arrangements for you to bring along your plus-one! When you RSVP, please enter your guests name or email adamses7123@gmail.com to let us know their name!

What should I do if I can't make the wedding?
Answer
Oh no! We will miss you such much! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know by RSVPing "no" so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend arrive at camp 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony so that you can park and walk up the hill to the ceremony location. Because Colorado is a popular (and beautiful) tourist location in the summers, we recommend adding 15 mins to the expected travel time on Google Maps because of the traffic you will likely experience in Woodland Park. From Elegante Suites (or central Colorado Springs) to Camp, we would expect 1 hour of travel time.

Where should I park?
Answer
Great question! When you get to Camp Elim (following the directions given on Google Maps or the travel page), you will turn right off Painted Rocks Road at the Camp Elim sign. There we will have a parking attendant to help y'all figure out exactly where to park and to direct you to the ceremony!

Are kids welcome?

Of course! If your invitation has the name of your children listed, or if your children are under the age of 3, we would love to have them!

How do I get to Camp Elim?

Google Maps and Apple Maps provide accurate directions to Camp! Use the following address: 5567 Painted Rocks Road Woodland Park, CO 80863 We also have detailed instructions on how to get to Camp on the travel page!

When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
The deadline to RSVP is May 31st so that we can finish planning all the details for the wedding. Please RSVP through our wedding website, let us know if there are any problems! Even if you cannot make the wedding, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Hey! What if I'm a LETU student and I'd like to share lodging with some other people? What should I do?

Hey, that's a great question! Please contact us directly and we'll get you connect with other LETU students if you'd like to work together on housing and travel. *This can also apply to other 20-ish aged guests! We'd love to get you connected to some other students/guests to share lodging!

So the ceremony is on a hill... how do I get up there?
Answer
If you are able to walk up the hill (about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot), we would ask that you do so. The path from the parking lot to the ceremony site will be clearly marked. If you are unable to complete the walk (we totally understand!), we will have a golf cart ready to drive you to the ceremony site!

If you have any dietary restrictions that we should be aware of for the reception, please email us at adamses7123@gmail.com by May 15th so that we can work with you and plan accordingly.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Yes! We ask that you are respectful with your phone during the ceremony, but we would love to see pictures of the wedding! Use our wedding hashtag #shortandconcise2023 so that we can see your pictures!
