Heyo! It's good to see y'all!

It all started when Jacob and Steph were assigned to the same lab group in their very first engineering class ever... She was attracted to his work ethic (and jawline) while he was cautious of her and her blue hair. Steph's attraction led her to drop hints to Jacob, which eventually (like MONTHS) led to a growing friendship. It was obvious to Steph that Jacob was an amazing man and it was also obvious to their friends that Steph was falling head-over-heels for him. During this time, the two spent time together with mutual friends and one-on-one (trust me, they weren't dating yet). After knowing each other for a year and a half, Jacob finally (like FINALLY) realized that Steph wasn't scary and that he actually did like her, so he asked her out on their favorite set of bleachers on March 9, 2021. This in itself is a miracle because Jacob did not realize that he needed to ask Steph out..... but that's ok, I guess! Their dating relationship consisted of amazing conversations (I know... it's hard to believe, but Jacob DOES talk!), long drives, Taco Bell dates, walks around campus, *a little* homework time, and "regular" everyday moments they could share together. These traditions have continued into their engagement and will continue into their marriage. After dating for 648 days, Jacob proposed to Steph on December 17, 2022 while they watched the sunset overlooking Cripple Creek, Colorado. It was literally a dream come true for Steph (AHHHHHHH!!!!!) and also an answered prayer because Jacob realized that he actually needed to ask Steph..... so that was pretty neat! Jacob and Steph look forward for whatever the Lord places in their future. They are planning on pursuing PhDs together at Oregon State University and are excited for whatever adventures are thrown their way. We are so excited to get married and share our wedding day with y'all, all of our close friends and family. Thanks for pouring into our lives!! #shortandconcise2023
