Our Story

From Middle School to Matrimony

Alli's Version: Alex and I met in our middle school science class, where I happened to have a massive crush on him. He somehow did not realize this (I blame it on him just being a boy). We drifted apart in high school, but through a series of serendipitous events were never too far apart. We both went to UCF, a building apart, lived out in LA (Alex working in film and me in theatre.) During Covid, we both ended up moving back home (15 mins apart from each other) and reconnected in 2023. On our "first date" (depending which one of us you ask) we hit it off and the rest is history. We moved up to Orlando for my work, with the goodest of boys, Switch and are happily living down the street from our best friends. And yes, I am living my hallmark dreams! Alex's Version: I met Alli in middle school where I failed to identify the glaring signals she repeatedly sent up about her infatuation with me. Even that time she asked me to tune her Ukulele at lunch, which I did with an awkward "ok here you go", and then walked away. All these years of near misses, going to the same college, studying a building apart, living in Los Angeles, have culminated in a hallmark style love story.
