In 2019 at a Halloween party at Millersville University, a vampire met a whoopie cushion — and somehow, it worked. She thought he was bold and hilarious. He thought she was cute. What began as a fun night turned into navigating COVID lockdowns together, long-distance, graduating college, starting new jobs, moving to Lancaster, and raising their very large and very rambunctious dog, Gator. Along with two very personable cats (Ollie and Ghost) and one very old goldfish. Through it all, they grew into a team. The proposal almost didn’t go as planned. Christmas 2024 arrived… along with pneumonia. After the original plan was foiled, he proposed at home instead, hanging the ring on the Christmas tree like an ornament. It was simple, unexpected, and perfectly them. This is just the beginning.
