How do I get to Dover Hall?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from Dover Hall exclusively from the Hilton Hotel & Spa in Short Pump. Parking is available at Dover Hall if you prefer to drive. You may also take an Uber or rideshare to the venue, but please note that rideshares at the end of the night may be limited. We strongly encourage either using the transportation provided or schedule your Uber/Lyft in advance.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved a block at the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa (Short Pump), which is about 10 minutes from the venue and offers shuttle service to and from the wedding. A few nearby hotels are also listed if you’d like other options.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional / formal. Floor-length dresses are encouraged for women and tuxedos or dark suits are perfect for men. Please visit our Dress Code page for more details.

Are children invited?

Answer

Your invitation or save-the-date indicates who is invited. We’ve carefully planned our guest count to accommodate food and seating, so we’re only able to host the guests listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out to Emma or Patrick. We’re happy to provide a list of local babysitters upon request. We hope you’ll still be able to join us for the celebration!

Please refer to your invitation. If your invitation says 'and guest' or lists their name, you are welcome to bring them!

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors at Dover Hall, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the ceremony indoors.
