As soon as you can! June is a popular time to travel to Banff, and therefore, we recommend booking as early as possible at Canalta Lodge. If you are staying at another hotel, please check in with them for booking availability!

Do I need to purchase a park pass?

Answer

Yes! Banff is a national park and therefore requires a permit for visiting. Park Passes can be purchased online, at the park gates if driving to Banff National Park, or in person at the Visitor Centres in Banff and Lake Louise. June in Banff brings mild, changeable weather as the park transitions into summer, with average daily high temperatures around 66°F and lows around 41°F. It is known as "Monsoon June" by locals due to it being one of the rainiest months of the year, so be prepared for a mix of conditions. Bring a rain jacket or umbrella!

Do I need to wear Indian Clothes?

Absolutely not! The bride will be wearing Indian attire at the ceremony and American attire at the reception! Please wear what is most comfortable for you, and kindly avoid wearing red during the wedding and white during the reception!

Will there be transportation on June 11th (wedding day)?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a shuttle from the Canalta Lodge to the ceremony location and reception. If you have alternate lodging, please feel free to meet at the Canalta Lodge during the pickup times.
