Think of it as Shivam's ultimate groom's parade! The groom makes his way to the wedding venue, surrounded by his family and friends celebrating and dancing. It's loud, it's lively, and it's basically a pre-party that guarantees everyone arrives ready to celebrate! Don't be shy – jump in and dance with us!
Get ready to dazzle in your summer-formal best! We're dreaming of a vibrant celebration, so think bright, cheerful colors that pop! ALL guests are encouraged to embrace the festivities by wearing either formal South Asian or Western attire — we welcome everyone to celebrate in a way that makes them feel fabulous! Kindly avoid wearing black, solid red, or solid white. We want our guests to feel just as fabulous as we do, so we kindly ask that you honor the dress code.
We understand the desire to capture every special moment, but we kindly request an unplugged ceremony during the groom and bride's entrance/exit. We ask all guests to please keep cell phones and other devices tucked away during those times, allowing everyone to be fully present with us. Our professional photography and videography teams will be meticulously capturing every detail, and we will gladly share all the beautiful images with you after our special day.
For our cocktail hour and reception, the dress code is black tie. We absolutely can't wait to see your unique and fun style, so feel free to embrace all colors, styles, and traditional clothing that make you feel amazing! We just kindly ask you to avoid wearing solid white. We want our guests to feel just as fabulous as we do, so we kindly ask that you honor the dress code.
Hotel recommendations with room blocks are coming soon! Complimentary shuttle service will be available to and from the events for guests staying at our selected hotels. Having you at our wedding is the best present we could ask for! For those who’d like to contribute, we’ve created a Cash Fund linked to our registry on this website to mark the beginning of our journey as newlyweds. If you'd like to bring a card, please bring it to either the ceremony or the reception—there will be a card box available at both events.

In August, the weather in New Jersey is generally sunny, warm, and humid. Average high temperatures tend to range from the mid-80s to low 90s Fahrenheit (around 29-34°C), while nighttime lows usually stay in the high 60s to 70s Fahrenheit (around 15-24°C). Humidity levels can be quite high, making it feel warmer. Please stay hydrated! Our ceremony will be held in a beautiful glass building with a retractable roof, ensuring comfort rain or shine.
