We met the first day of orientation for medical school. We were both sorted into the same learning community, which is a group of fellow classmates you do various educational activities, volunteering, and socials with throughout medical school. We did not interact much at first except through events with our learning community but we somehow both ended up in a study group led by the great Sebastian Schormann. Through this, we started spending a lot more time together and eventually even starting hanging out together in groups outside of school-related things like playing pick-up soccer, singing karaoke, etc. Overtime, we realized that we really enjoyed each other's company. Our first "date" (though if you asked us at the time, we were "just friends" even if we held hands the whole time) was going to see a Christmas movie at the Alabama Theater during their holiday film series. After that, we started spending more time together and finally officially started dating on February 16, 2020. Since then, we have been on so many adventures together, couples matched, moved to a new city, started residency. We cannot wait to take this next step and get MARRIED!
