Please refer to the RSVP page — when you search for your name, a list of everyone included in your invitation will appear. Given the intimate nature of our wedding and venue capacity, we are unfortunately not able to extend plus-ones to everyone.
Please refer to the RSVP page —when you search for your name, any children included in your invitation will be listed. While we are happy to have children accompany you for the wedding weekend, we kindly ask that young children not attend the ceremony and reception, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. If you anticipate needing childcare services or additional accommodations for young children, please let us know when you RSVP.
Cocktail attire. The welcome party is "Old Shanghai" themed, and we encourage you to dress in style! Here is some inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/sywu/friday-night-old-shanghai-style/ Ladies -- please do not wear white (shades of red are recommended to bring the bride good luck before her wedding day!) We also recommend a block or low heel to navigate the grass and gravel at the venue. Please note that evenings can be cool once the sun sets - we encourage you to bring a wrap or shawl for comfort.
Black tie. A tux is recommended for gentlemen, and floor-length dresses for ladies. Ladies, please no white or red dresses for the ceremony and reception.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. There will be refreshments served in the gardens starting at 4pm. For guests staying at Vaudère, transportation to Grand-Lucé will be provided (see your welcome bag for the shuttle itinerary).
"Picnic Chic" - for inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/sywu/sunday-brunch-picnic-chic/ Please note that brunch will take place in the gardens - we recommend shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass.
Yes, for guests staying in Vaudère, there will be shuttle transportation provided for all wedding events (Friday welcome party, Saturday ceremony & reception, and Sunday brunch). A card with the shuttle schedule will be provided in the welcome basket in your hotel room. There will also be a shuttle running between Grand-Lucé and Vaudère during the day on Saturday, if you would like to explore the grounds in the morning, or have lunch at Le Lucé restaurant (https://leluce.com/)
Yes, both Grand-Lucé and Vaudère have space for parking, if you plan to rent a car for the weekend. If you are staying at Vaudère and prefer to drive to the wedding events rather than take the shuttle, there will be parking available as well.
