When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 16, 2020 so we have time to finalize our count for all our vendors.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Sure! Make a note of it on your RSVP, and we will talk with our catering staff in order to best meet their needs.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Melhorn Manor has a paved and lined parking lot for 150+ cars. There is also handicapped parking close to the venue. A parking attendant will assist you with parking when you arrive for the ceremony. Cars can be left at the venue overnight if need be, and picked up from the lot in the morning.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms for our wedding guests at SureStay Plus by Best Western. It is only 3.4 miles away from Melhorn Manor. View our Travel page on the website for more information.

Can I take my shoes off to dance?

Answer

Unfortunately, shoes need to remain on for the entire night. Our reception is in a barn with the original flooring. We would hate to see anyone get a splinter while busting a move. Flip flops will be provided for those who just can't bear wearing fancy shoes any longer.

Is smoking permitted at the venue?

Answer

Melhorn Manor is a non-smoking property. Since it is a rustic barn, there is wood everywhere and the owners would hate to see it go up in flames.
