The Third Ward is one of Milwaukee’s oldest neighborhoods with old warehouse buildings and cobblestone streets. It's a walkable area filled with shops, galleries, and restaurants with great outdoor patios. We definitely recommend you stop by the Milwaukee Public Market while you're there — it's a great spot to grab fried (or squeaky!) cheese curds, a classic Milwaukee brat with a pint of beer, or just checkout local vendors.

Feeling lucky? Potawatomi Casino has been a local staple for over three decades. It's a lively spot to try your hand at the slots (Parni's favorite!) or table games. Whether you swing by for a little roulette or black jack, grab a drink, or catch live music you're sure to have a fun time!
Serving up some of the best bagels and breakfast plates in Milwaukee!
One of Milwaukee’s most popular spots, with great beer, riverfront views, and brewery tours. Even if you don't take the tour, it's a fun place to grab a drink, eat some Wisconsin comfort food, and hang out by the water. Other breweries we recommend: Pilot Project Brewing, Central Waters Brewing Company, Wizard Works, and Indeed Brewing Company.
Are you a fan of the TV show Top Chef? DanDan is co‑owned by Dan Jacobs, who was a contestant on Top Chef: Wisconsin in 2024. He made it all the way to the finale!
You can explore the galleries of the Milwaukee Art Museum (our wedding venue!) during daytime hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It's a great opportunity to enjoy the art and the space while it's open to the public.
Harbor House offers a beautiful lakeside vibe. Whether you sit indoor or outdoor, it's a perfect place for lunch or dinner with unbeatable views of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee Art Museum. For a taste of New England (Luke's home turf!), try the Maine lobster fra diavolo, Conneticut or Maine-style lobster roll, or a range of East Coast oysters. Luke's personal favorite is the grilled whole Mediterranean branzino!
Discovery World is a science and technology museum right on the lakefront, with hands-on exhibits.
