What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:00 PM sharp! Please plan to arrive by 4:45 PM so you have time to get settled, find your seat, and grab a pre-ceremony moment before we say “I do.”

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie. We’re so excited to have everyone get dressed up with us for the evening! Gentlemen should wear tuxedos, and ladies should wear floor-length gowns or formal evening dresses. Think elegant, glamorous, and ready to celebrate!

How do I get to the wedding venue from the hotel?

Answer

Walking — approximately 12–15 minutes For guests who want to walk: Exit the Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel at 370 Canal Street. Walk south toward Walker Street. Continue west toward Hudson Street. Follow Hudson Street south toward Desbrosses Street. Turn onto Desbrosses Street and continue to 10 Desbrosses Street. Enter the building and follow signs for Tribeca Rooftop. Allow approximately 15–20 minutes total, especially if you're walking in formalwear. Uber or Lyft — approximately 5–10 minutes For the easiest option, especially if you're in formalwear, you can take an Uber or Lyft. Destination: Tribeca Rooftop, 10 Desbrosses Street, New York, NY 10013 The drive is very short, but NYC traffic can make timing unpredictable. Allow approximately 10–15 minutes door-to-door, including pickup time. Tip: Since the venue is close to the hotel, walking may be just as easy as waiting for an Uber!

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please let Shira know about any dietary restrictions or allergies by emailing shiraandjohnmerva@gmail.com at least one week before the wedding so we can make sure you’re taken care of!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside! The reception will be indoors. A coat check will be available both before and after the ceremony and cocktail hour, so you can dress accordingly and enjoy the evening comfortably.
