John and Shira’s story begins the way all great ones do, at a Halloween party. Back in 2019, John may not remember calling Shira pretty, but she certainly does (and thought about it for an entire year). Exactly one year later, fate, and another Halloween party brought them together again. This time, John remembered Shira, and soon after, he found himself at her 25th birthday celebration. Despite the invite clearly stating “alcohol provided,” John showed up with a bottle of Summer in a Bottle, an unexpected choice for that time of year that made a lasting impression. Nearly five years later, they still share a bottle of Summer in a Bottle every November to celebrate where it all began. Together, they’ve built a home filled with love and laughter, traveled the world, and fallen more in love every single day.
