Located downtown, Pike Place Market is Seattle’s original farmers market, and the oldest continuously operating farmers market in the country. They have shops, restaurants, specialty food stands, and craftspeople offering a wide variety of products. The market also offers fantastic views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains.
Filled with history, the Space Needle is a top tourist attraction offering panoramic views of the city and the Puget Sound.
Seattles International-Chinatown District is easily accessible by the Link Light Rail. It has a variety of delicious restaurants including our favorite dumpling house, Dough Zone, and one of Iron Chef Morimoto’s restaurants, Momosan.
Located on the 73rd floor of the Columbia Center downtown, this observatory offers 360 degree panoramic views of the city, the Cascade mountains, the Olympic mountains, and Mt. Rainier. At 902 feet, this is the tallest public viewing area in Seattle.
Are you a sports fan? T-Mobile Park is home to the Seattle Mariners. This is one of our favorite summer activities. Go M’s! ⚾️
More of the outdoorsy type? Located 29 miles from Seattle, Snoqualmie Falls is one of the state’s most popular scenic attractions. At the Falls, there is the 270 foot waterfall, an observation deck, gift shop, and 2-acre park. Additionally, there are many amazing hiking trails just outside of Seattle.
If you love wine as much as we do, we recommend checking out Woodinville. With over 170 tasting rooms, there are endless options of places to go wine tasting. Two places we highly recommend are Fidelitas and Prohibition Cellars. This cute little town also has lots of yummy places to eat!
