When: Thursday, 6/23 - 8:15am departure from Durango What: A National Historic Landmark - 3.5 hour, one-way train ride to Silverton, CO. Winds through the beautiful San Juan Forest, only accessible by train. Cost: $105 adult | $70 kids 4 - 12 | FREE under 4 (total including taxes) How to reserve: We have reserved a train car, so please RSVP to us with how many adults and kids you would like to book, at the 'View' link below. Deadline: We are asking that you RSVP to this event by May 1. Additional Notes: Price includes the return trip back to Durango, however, we have done this trip several times and adding the return trip makes this a LONG day. Instead, we are arranging rides back to Durango via car from Silverton, which is about an hour compared to the 3.5 hour train ride. When: Friday 6/24 starting at 8:30am What: Class 1 & 2 rapids, one section of Class 3. Kids under 8 years old are required to walk around the Class 3 section, adults are also welcome to walk around. We have negotiated group rates for each of these trips on Friday morning. Great activity for kids! Experience the Alpine Coaster and Alpine Slide as well as a bungee trampoline, and adventure climbing course. Adults can enjoy downhill mountain biking, and lots of trails to hike through the beautiful San Juan Mountains, with views that won't disappoint. Purgatory is 35 min from Durango and worth the drive.
