Wedding Party

Sarah Totedo

Bride

Kevin Shimp

Groom

Emily Totedo

Maid of Honor

Did I ever have a choice in who would be my maid of honor? NO! From day one, I've had a built in playmate, best friend and now the person standing right beside me on my wedding day. Even though we are the world's most different twins, I could not have asked for a better sis!

Nathan Shimp

Best Man

My brother and I joke that our lives are the same just 7 years apart, so it's fitting that my wedding day is 7 years after his own. I wanted Nate to be my best man because I looked up to him growing up - whether it was on the football field, or baseball diamond, or at the house with his friends - and I still look up to him today because of the life he has created with his wife and son.

Anthony Totedo

Bridesman

I believe I told Anthony years ago that he would be one of my bridesmaids and I'm pumped that it's finally happening! I needed someone in the wedding party who would start the dancing, the drinking and probably the crying. I am so honored to have my cousin join me on our special day.

Andrew Shimp

Groomsman

People may no longer confuse Andy and I as brothers, but through the years I have only felt more and more like his brother. And like a big brother, I'm looking forward to the day he has something other than Kraken rum with him, so we can have an enjoyable drink together!

Carly Holloway

Bridesmaid

They say if you're friends with someone for 7 years then you will be friends for life. Well, almost 20 years later and we're still best friends. From the Stingers Swim Team to real life adulthood, Carly has always been just a quick trip or a phone call away to share life advice, laugh and talk about hummus recipes.

Mark Larsen

Groomsman

We've roamed the halls of Liberty High School, the streets of Powell, the cramped rooms of Stradley Hall, and even hell on earth - the bar exam test room. Through it all our friendship has lasted and grown, and while many of our experiences should not be written down in case the statute of limitations has not quite expired, just know that having Mark as part of my wedding was a decision I made long ago.

Bailey Harrow

Bridesmaid

Bailey was my first (and best) roommate and I knew we would be best friends right away. I came on way too strong the first day we met, but we found out quickly that we share a love of all things Beyonce, teen television shows and pumpkin flavored food. I also knew Kevin was right for me when Bay gave her stamp of approval!

Tyler Wolpert

Groomsman

Tyler and I decided to become roommates so our college friends - The 161 Mafia - could still have a crib to call home after graduation day. This decision led to plenty of good times at 80 E Lane Avenue, meals at Happy Town, and hangover cures at Ray-Rays Barbecue. Yet, despite the fun, it was time to grow up like Phil the Handyman told us, so we headed for downtown. I could not have asked for a better roommate over the last four years, so I'm glad Tyler is able to take part in the wedding.

Clay Parlette

Bridesman

I met Clay in college and our first conversation was about what he wanted to be when he grows up. Quickly I admired his quick wit and love of politics. Last year, we made the poor life decision to run a half marathon together, but I couldn't have done it with anyone else cheering me on along the way!

Scott Ciszewski

Groomsman

Ohio State political science students on opposite sides of the partisan aisle don't always become friends but luckily for Scott I gave him a chance. Scott never misses an opportunity for a night out so in between our studies at OSU and Capital Law, we managed to squeeze in evenings at Out-r-Inn, Oldfields, Big Bar, Brothers, Standard Hall, Oddfellows, Pint House, R Bar, and the Walrus in order to keep our bodies and minds sharp.

Melissa Shimp

Bridesmaid

As I got to know Melissa I knew there would be many meaningful life lessons I could learn from her. She is an amazing wife and mother, a fantastic chef and just an overall badass. Even though you can't choose family, I would always pick her to be my friend and future sister!

Mike Leonard

Groomsman

Mike taught me to never get into a drinking game with people from the Ohio Valley. That lesson has come in handy over the years, so for that reason alone he is deserving of a spot as a groomsman. However, Mike really earned his spot by being a great friend who is always up for a round of golf, duck pin bowling, or a good bourbon.

Tommy Shimp

Ring Bearer

You will most likely find Tommy playing with spoons, opening and closing doors or watching YouTube videos, but on November 16th he will be walking our rings down the aisle. We picked Tommy because he will look the cutest in a suit and will most likely run to get the ceremony done faster!

Fred Shimp

Officiant

My Uncle Fred was gracious enough to agree to officiate our wedding. He has been a role model in my life since I was young and his hand written letters filled with advice have guided me through countless times of doubt.

Nimbus

Our cat!

Some love her, most hate her! While she won't be attending our wedding, Nimbus is happy that we are becoming our own little family.
