FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is "black tie encouraged." For our wedding, we’d love for you to embrace formal elegance. Think “Old‑Hollywood glamour meets fresh coastal garden party.” Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or a sharp, dark suit with a bow tie or tie. For ladies, dramatic evening gowns or tea-length dresses are appropriate. We'd love to see the celebration filled with color and softness – feel free to play with bold jewel tones, soft pastels, and elegant ruffles or florals. While the gentlemen will be in classic black tie, we kindly ask our female guests to avoid wearing black. Please note that dinner will be held on the lawn, so select footwear appropriately.
