Things To Do

Our Favorite Restaurants

Click here for a Google Map of all of our favorite spots, along with key wedding weekend locations!

Dalessandro's Steaks

600 Wendover Street, Philadelphia, PA 19128

If you want to grab a cheesesteak while you're in Philly, this is our favorite spot! Our go-to order is a provolone cheesesteak with fried onions, with lots of cherry peppers on the side. (It's honestly really out of the way—you can also find good cheesesteaks at Jim's South Street and Reading Terminal Market, which are closer to other landmarks.)

Old City

Philadelphia, PA

Dense and historic neighborhood of Philadelphia. Landmarks of interest include Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the National Constitution Center, and Elfreth's Alley. You can also enjoy Philly-themed mini golf at Franklin Square. Adjacent to Society Hill (cobblestone streets, 18th-century architecture, historic home tours) and Chinatown!

Barnes Foundation

2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130

The first art museum we went to together—also located by all the other museums on the Parkway. Boasts a large collection of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings.

Rodin Museum

2151 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Just a quick walk from the Barnes, with free garden admission. Torrie’s favorite spot for walks and squirrel patrol.

Eastern State Penitentiary

2027 Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130

A historic prison with tours of old cells and exhibits on the criminal justice system. "Halloween Nights," a Philly-favorite Halloween festival with haunted houses, historical tours, live music, and food will be happening throughout the month of October.

Longwood Gardens

1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348

A favorite of both of our families—enjoy indoor and outdoor horticulture displays at this popular site. Advance reservations are recommended.

The Inn at Grace Winery

50 Sweetwater Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342

Enjoy wine tastings, bites, farm animals, and more at this winery just minutes from our venue. Note that the tasting room is 21+.

Tired Hands Fermentaria Tap Room

35 Cricket Terrace, Ardmore, PA 19003

Good beers and food! Other places of interest nearby are Suburban Square (outdoor shopping), pucciManuli (the cutest toy store), Char & Stave (all-day café and cocktail bar), and various shops along Lancaster Avenue.

King of Prussia Mall

160 North Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406

A rainy day option, or if you have last-minute shopping needs—King of Prussia is the fourth-biggest mall in the United States, with 450 retailers. Pennsylvania also does not tax clothing. Minutes away from either hotel by car.
