What should I wear?
Answer
We are so excited about the opportunity to dress up and celebrate with our guests! The ceremony and reception are black-tie—tuxedos and formal gowns are encouraged. Please see more here: https://www.brides.com/story/black-tie-wedding-guest-dress-code-long-gowns For the welcome party, we suggest festive attire: dresses, elevated separates, button-down shirts, and slacks. A jacket and tie are not necessary, though you are welcome to dress up if you wish! Our families will be wearing cocktail attire. October weather in Pennsylvania can be variable, so we encourage you to check the weather forecast as the weekend approaches. An extra layer for the evening might be a good idea. Coat check will be available at the venue, if necessary.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Dinner and dancing will take place inside Hunting Hill Mansion, though we will have lounge areas available outside.

Will there be shuttle transportation?
Answer
Yes, we will have shuttles to and from both hotel blocks. Schedule coming soon!

Is parking available?
Answer
Yes, ample parking is available just steps from our venue. There are also two EV charging spots.

Is the venue handicap accessible?
Answer
The venue has several handicap parking spots, along with an accessible ramp. The outdoor ceremony site may pose some difficulty due to steps and uneven terrain. Please reach out to us with any accessibility needs.

May I take photos during the wedding?
Answer
We ask that your devices are put away during the ceremony, as well as key reception moments, such as speeches and dances. We would love for everyone to be present during some of the most important moments of our lives, and for the professional vendors to have room to do their work! If you would like photos and videos of the festivities, please check back here after the wedding! In addition to a traditional photography and videography team, we have hired a content creation team, who will be taking mobile photos and videos to be made available shortly after the wedding.

No, we plan on keeping our given names at this time. Please continue to address us as Ms. Emily Shim and Mr. James Lauer.
