Where do I start? Miya and I met in 2013 while working. She was quiet, always had a notebook writing her essays when we had downtime because she was in school. There was something special about her. Her poise, intellect, sweet and gentle smile with a bit of sass, the spark in her eyes and her spirit of love, spirituality and positivity are only a few of the qualities she exuded that attracted me to her. A friendship and sisterhood blossomed and the rest is history. Our love for each other is pure and without judgment. We’ve held on to each other through some of life’s toughest battles and greatest victories. Miya is the baby sister God knew I needed. Love you my Phoenix and cheers to this new chapter!!!

See, if Robert didn't understand something or didn't have a lot of information about it, he would pick up a book and learn about it. It's been 13 years of knowing him and his quest for knowledge hasn't stopped yet. He's one of my good friends, and I'm glad that he found someone to have a future with on his never-ending quest for knowledge.

Being present at Shimiya's birth, naming her, and watching her grow into the most beautiful and calm individual is a blessing I’ll always hold dear. Over the years, she’s become an incredibly smart, loving mother, companion, daughter, and friend. One of the most unforgettable memories I have with her was being by her side when she welcomed her first child, surrounded by her mom, family, and so much love. We have the honor to say we are the children of the bride. We are lucky to have such an amazing mom who is an instrumental part of our lives and growth. She has a heart of gold that extends to anyone with the pleasure of meeting her whom we've been able to both see and experience our whole lives. When we first meet Robert, we knew they would build a beautiful partnership and it has proven to be true ever since. Robert is an amazing person, with just as big of a heart who has embraced us since the beginning.
