We have both always loved the country home feel and couldn't think of a better place to celebrate this special occasion. Levert and I met on July 15 , 2022 at a mutual friends (Adrian Simmons ) Birthday party . The birthday party was divided into two parts the first half being held at a community park and the second half held at Adrian’s house. While at the park. I (Shianne) was having a good time dancing and hanging out with friends and when I was returning from the outside bar , Levert stopped me and said “hey were you the girl I was talking to earlier?” I replied “no” and he then replied “oh ok , well you’re beautiful “ …I smiled and said “thank you “ and went on back to my “friends corner “ after a few hours the party then moved to Adrian’s house where the celebration continued….at this point all I wanted was a fish sandwich and a drink in which it seemed no one was answering my prayers or request ! As I was sitting down on the floor in front of the couch ,Levert has started to make his presence known amongst the crowd laughing , socializing , and sweating lol …he sees me sitting on the floor and asked “you married ?!” Laughing , I replied no and his response was “WELL PRAISE GOD !” at this point he continues to engage in unwanted conversation lol and I feel my only escape was to send him to get me a drink and crawl away ! Well I’m my attempt to crawl away , he was then notified by Cheleina Ramey that I was president of the usher board at church and oh did that make his day . He then yells out “OH BLESS ! MY TYPE OF WOMAN !” …at this point I’m trapped on the floor lol trying to crawl away and Levert is right behind me lol ….the rest is history. He captured my heart though because even though I thought he was going to be “my weekend boyfriend “ I told him if he really wanted to talk to me he had to come to church on that Sunday , well sure enough he walks in Sunday morning July 17, 2022 overdressed with slacks and a plaid button down smiling and greets me with a hug while I’m ushering on my post 🤦🏾‍♀️ and here we are today!
