Yes. When you RSVP, you will have the opportunity to let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can plan accordingly.
The entire wedding will take place outdoors.
La Palma is warm and sunny in June, with temperatures typically in the 70s to 80s°F (20s°C) during the day. However, it can get cooler at night, and the wedding is outdoors. Women may want to consider bringing a shawl or light jacket.
We recommend staying in either Santa Cruz de La Palma or Los Cancajos. Check out the travel section of this website for more details!
Transportation will be provided from both Santa Cruz de La Palma and Los Cancajos to and from the wedding venue.
La Palma does not have Uber or Lyft. The main transportation options are taxis or public buses, which are called “guaguas” in the Canary Islands.
If you are staying on the island for several days and want to explore, renting a car is a great option. La Palma is small, but there are many beautiful spots to visit across the island, and driving offers the most convenience. If you are not comfortable driving a manual (stick shift) car, be sure to request an automatic when making your reservation, as most rentals in Spain are manual by default.
The currency used is Euros. Many places accept credit cards, but it is a good idea to carry some cash for small purchases or in case you visit a business that only accepts cash.
The roads in La Palma are really curvy, especially in the mountains. If you tend to get carsick, it is a good idea to bring something to help.
