Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
As this is a destination wedding, we’ll need to finalize travel, accommodations, and event details well in advance. We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible—your response helps us coordinate plans and secure arrangements with our travel partner, Destined Travel Services. Formal invitations will be sent in May and will include an RSVP deadline of August 5, 2026. Please note that reservations at Hotel Xcaret must be booked by August 19, 2026. After this date, our room block rates and inclusion in wedding events will no longer be available.

Can I bring a date?

Yes! All guests are welcome to bring a plus one, and children are also welcome to attend. Rooms are based on double occupancy. If you are attending solo and would like to share a room, please reach out to us—we may be able to connect you with another guest who is also looking to share.

Where do I book ?

We’ve partnered with Destined Travel Services to make planning your trip as seamless as possible. To enjoy our group perks—including private airport transfers, access to all wedding events, and personalized travel support—please book your room through our wedding website: https://destinedweddings.com/shewa2026 To secure your reservation, a $200 deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full by August 19, 2026.

Am I allowed to stay at a different hotel and attend the wedding?
Answer
To be included in our wedding celebration, all guests are required to stay on the resort property for a minimum of three nights and book within our group. This helps us ensure everyone is accounted for and receives full access to wedding events and details. After the three-night stay, we’ll be extending our trip at another hotel in downtown Playa del Carmen. If you’re interested in continuing the celebration, feel free to explore our “Things to Do in Playa del Carmen” guide and reach out to us directly for more details—we’d love to have you join us!
