Registry
In honor of our Vietnamese heritage, we kindly request Traditional Vietnamese wedding gifts.
It is made in the form of money given in an envelope as it symbolizes prosperity, health, and happiness. It is believed to protect the person of younger generations from sickness and death, and to help the newlyweds begin their new journey as husband and wife.
During the reception, the bride and groom will "chào bàn," which is the customary process of going from table to table to personally thank guests for their well wishes and to collect gifts. Each table selects a representative to give a quick congratulatory toast to the bride and groom. Parents and/or the newlyweds will then give a brief thank you speech to the entire table for coming to celebrate with them. We look forward to celebrating with you on our special day!
