Are kids welcome?
Answer
Even though we have a few kids in the wedding party, please keep the kiddo's at home for our wedding!

Can I gamble during the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We specifically have a race named after our wedding for our guests to gamble on. Feel free to walk around the venue and explore prior to the ceremony start time.

What is the dress code?
Answer
As this is not a black tie affair, please dress accordingly. We are requesting semi-formal. Please take a virtual tour of the venue to get a feel for attire.

Where can I stay?

Accommodations: We reserved a room block at the Fairfield Inn Laurel for guests wishing to stay the night. Rooms are first come, first serve. Please book by August 26, 2026 to receive the discounted rate. What if I have dietary restrictions?

When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, and we'll do our best to accommodate them. Dinner will be served buffet style with a plethora of different options.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The wedding ceremony starts promptly at 4pm. Please arrive no later than 3:45pm to be in your seat and settled before the ceremony begins.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the ceremony and the reception are indoors. The ceremony will be held in the Ruffian Room. The reception will be held in The Terrace Dining room just one floor above the Ruffian Room.

Yes! Our ceremony will take place in the Ruffian Room. The reception and cocktail hour to follow in the Terrace Dining Room.

What should I know about the venue?
Answer
Laurel Park Race Track is a full functioning horse race track (and where Preakness will be held until Pimlico is rebuilt!). There will be horse racing the day of our wedding but it will be wrapping up by the time the ceremony starts. Please feel free to walk around the venue as there are many bars, betting areas, and cool things to see!
