Our love story started on, you guessed it, Tinder!!! We met years ago on the dating app but nothing ever came from it. Fast forward to August 2020 when Jess received a message from a random number asking "Is this Jess?". Jess replied, then quickly googled the number to see who it was. Texts were exchanged and the first date happened on 8/22/2020 at Taco Daddy in Frederick, MD. The date lasted 9 hours in a prime time covid world-the rest is history. Michael and Jess would exchange silly pictures and videos due to living 70 miles away from each other. Michael would send Jess videos of himself playing the piano and guitar, which made Jess fall quickly. She would show the videos to her co-workers and remember thinking, "He is going to be my husband". Fast forward to January 2024 when Jess moved in with Michael in White Marsh, MD and Ollie (our doggo!) was brought home in February 2024 (Bridgeit (our cat) was not thrilled at either choice LOL). Michael proposed on May 18, 2025 on the field at Camden Yards Orioles Park. No one knew what was about to happen. Michael was coaching the high school All Star baseball game and called Jess down to the field to re-take a picture they took two years prior. Jess went down to the field, posed for the pictures, then Michael turned to Jess and said "Do you remember how I told you to wait {to talk about getting engaged} until baseball season was finished?". Jess said, "Yeah"-Michael then got down on one knee and popped the question in front of the crowd at Camden Yards! It was perfect. Everyone was just as shocked as Jess! Michael did a phenomenal job of keeping the surprise a secret.
