What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive to the Grand Island Mansion as it is tucked away near the Delta. Ceremony starts promptly at 6 and we hope to have everyone there on time, so feel free to arrive 30min to an hour ahead of time

Is there a dress code?

Yes, please arrive in semi-formal wear!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes, but we do ask any kids under the age of 5 stay at home. We understand this could effect whether or not you are able to attend. We hope to see you there but please let us know if you have any questions about this, thank you for understanding!

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes! Parking is free, there is a parking lot towards the back when you pull up to the mansion. There is also parking available on the street. Please be careful driving back, the roads are a little bumpy and harder to manage at night.

What are the accommodations?
Answer
The venue is nestled in a beautiful but isolated area in Walnut Grove. This does mean that hotels are limited but there is a Holiday Inn and Suites in Elk Grove, about 30 minutes from our venue. Airbnb's are another good option or if you don't mind a longer drive, there are hotels in cities like Lodi and Galt.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Andrew and I have had a wonderful 10.5 years together and we have plenty of lovely things, so we kindly ask for a donation towards our honeymoon as traveling together is a gift we can cherish for years to come. Our registry is on Zola but they do charge a convenience fee, so feel free to bring a card or cash to the wedding if you prefer. If you feel so inclined to present us with a physical gift we would still be incredibly grateful but we are not registered anywhere as we are traveling from Texas and may not have enough room to bring with us, thank you!

Can I bring a date?

When RSVPing those with a plus one will know through our website. If you have any questions pertaining to this please ask Andrew or Sheridan, as we would truly love to keep our wedding between our family and friends, thank you.

Best way to get to the venue?
Answer
Or venue, although in a beautiful place, is relatively remote. If you are ubering there, please coordinate a ride back as Uber/Lyft may not be available on your way back from the wedding. Taxi services may be a good option or you can try to ask your Uber/Lyft driver if they wouldn't mind picking you back up from the mansion.

Is there a rehearsal party?

Andrew and I would love to have you at our rehearsal dinner if you're able to make it. Thursday evening we will be heading to Gaslight in Folsom at 5:30 pm to enjoy drinks and food!
