Technically the day Sheridan and Andrew met would not be classified as the first, but it was the most important. In high school, they both saw each other around campus but only met one time when Sheridan purposefully bumped into Andrew to initiate a hello between him and her friend. The day they actually met was Andrew's last day at the chiropractor Sheridan just started working for. The electricity between them was undeniable as Sheridan hooked Andrew up to an E-Stim (electrical stimulation) machine. While Andrew casually flirted with her, Sheridan did her best to remain as professional as possible, until her manager asked what she thought of Andrew. To which Sheridan replied, "he's super cute." Unbeknownst to her, the manager was friends with Andrews mom who then reported back to Andrew that the cute receptionist girl thought he was cute as well. Ever the romantic, Andrew then sent Sheridan a lengthy Facebook message, "hey, what's up?" Sheridan was both surprised and excited, so she immediately wrote back and they talked back and forth until he asked for her number. They met in person not too long after and from then on it's been 10 happy years together with their wedding day just around the corner!

Andrew proposed to Sheridan on June 13th, 2023 in the beautiful Bahamas. It was truly a surprise as Andrew did not let on that he had the intention to propose to her on this vacation. The day of the proposal was not like any other as the power to the resort had gone out that afternoon. Earlier that day Sheridan was told that there was a complimentary photoshoot planned and she knew she had to get ready for the shoot later in the day so she headed back to the hotel room to try and prepare. Unfortunately, the water and the electricity were both out so she grabbed some water bottles and washed her hair in the sink. Andrew came back to the room then the power came on and he told her to hurry and finish getting ready in case the power went off as he knew she would want to look her best for the special moment ahead. Before they left Sheridan held up two dresses, one black and one white. Andrew nonchalantly chose the white dress and Sheridan agreed. They met with the photographer and he took them from place to place around the resort. At one point they arrived at a reflection pool and before they went any further the photographer asked them to wait and walk hand in hand to the end of the garden. At the end of the walkway were candles that spelled out "Will you marry me?" Andrew's father came around and handed the ring to him, then Andrew got down on one knee. Sheridan waited for the question but Andrew was so nervous he forgot to ask and instead asked Sheridan if she read the candles. She laughed with tears in her eyes and said, "of course I'll marry you!" Both Andrews father and his wife were there filming everything and made sure to have family on Zoom to witness it as well. It was truly a dream and they are both excited to have everyone share in their journey on the day of their wedding!
