Travel Note
To get to Mazama from Seattle, there are two nearly equidistant routes, both are about a 3.5 hour drive. Option 1: Drive north on I-5 until you take a turn towards the cascade foothills and eventually the long, winding, and incredibly beautiful up and over Hwy 20 through the North Cascades National Park. Option 2: Cross the Cascades on either I-90 or Hwy 2 and follow the mighty Columbia River north past orchards, vineyards, and sagebrush deserts. Turn up into the beautiful Methow Valley from the east. You could also choose to make the drive a loop to experience even more scenery. Please consider coordinating with other guests to carpool. If you need assistance connecting with others, please reach out to us!
