What is the dress code?

Please note: this dress code theme is NOT mandatory in ANY way, shape, or form. The "theme" is garden party and the reception venue will be in a rural location with ample outdoor space. We suggest that guests dress comfortably for the weather (late May) and location (outdoors on a mountain side). Color, style, cut, and all other aspects of clothing are entirely up to you. If you WISH to embrace the "theme" in any way, a "garden party" themed wedding TYPICALLY includes bright, spring / summer colors, floral patterns, and light fabrics like linens. Again, this is NOT required, but a fun suggestion for those who wish to participate. Above all else, please be comfortable, confident, and content. We are blessed with a very diverse group of friends and family. As such, people come from all walks of life, faith, and worldviews. We would like to provide additional context for those who attend and appreciate a bit more direction in their choice of attire. If this is you, please read below. If this is NOT you, please disregard the text below. -- Below is typical guidance offered on attire for "garden party" themed weddings. Ladies: floral and botanical prints are encouraged - think garden-party dresses, flowy skirts, linen shirts, and polishedm casual looks. Complete the look with grass-friendly footwear, and embrace soft pastels, earth tones, and bright florals. Gentlemen: Lightweight suits or tailored separates in beathable fabrics are encouraged, such as linen or cotton, paired with button-down shirts or relaxed blazers. Complete the look with loafers or dressy flats, and opt for soft neutrals, earth tones, or subtle floral accents. We kindly request that guests dress modestly, ensuring shoulders and knees of all guests are covered while inside the sanctuary.

Is there parking at the ceremony or reception?

St. John's Church has ample parking (two lots) for the ceremony.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony and reception?

Answer
